Maryoom ("we", "us") helps people prepare for and reach a responsible marriage decision. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your choices. Maryoom is intended for adults (18+) intending marriage. It is not a dating or casual-chat service.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and (if provided) phone number, used to create and secure your account.
• Profile & readiness information — details you choose to provide about your preferences, values, background, and marriage priorities.
• Identity verification data — if you request verification, a photo of a government ID and a selfie, used solely to confirm your identity and held for review. This is sensitive data and is not shared for any other purpose.
• Content you create — messages in guided introductions, meeting reflections, and photos you upload.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information (e.g., app version, device type, and logs) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To provide the core journey: readiness assessment, values-based matching, serious introductions, guided meetings, and family involvement.
• To verify identity and maintain trust & safety (reporting, moderation).
• To manage membership and process payments.
• To communicate with you about your account and activity.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs, and premium membership never grants access to another person — it provides tools and guidance only.

Service providers

We share data only with processors that help us run Maryoom, under their own privacy terms:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Stripe — payment processing and, where offered, identity verification.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Supabase / cloud hosting — secure data storage and application hosting.
• AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) — to generate grounded guidance text. We do not send them your ID documents.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile and associated data. You may also request deletion via our Account Deletion page or by emailing us. Some records may be retained only as required by law or for legitimate safety purposes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. We apply access controls and safety measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including special handling of identity-verification data.

Children

Maryoom is only for adults (18+) intending marriage. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Your rights & contact

You may access, correct, or delete your data. For any privacy request or question, contact us at hello@maryoom.online. We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.

تساعد مريوم («نحن») الأشخاص على التحضير للوصول إلى قرار زواج مسؤول. توضّح هذه السياسة البيانات الشخصية التي نجمعها وسببها وخياراتك. مريوم مخصّصة للبالغين (18 عامًا فأكثر) الراغبين في الزواج، وليست تطبيق تعارف عابر.

المعلومات التي نجمعها

• معلومات الحساب — اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني و(إن وُجد) رقم هاتفك، لإنشاء حسابك وحمايته.
• معلومات الملف والجاهزية — ما تختار تقديمه عن تفضيلاتك وقيمك وخلفيتك وأولوياتك للزواج.
• بيانات توثيق الهوية — عند طلب التوثيق: صورة هوية رسمية وصورة ذاتية، تُستخدم حصريًا لتأكيد هويتك وتُحفظ للمراجعة. هذه بيانات حسّاسة لا تُشارك لأي غرض آخر.
• المحتوى الذي تنشئه — رسائل التعارف الموجّه، وتأمّلات اللقاء، والصور التي ترفعها.
• بيانات الاستخدام والجهاز — معلومات تقنية أساسية لتشغيل الخدمة وتأمينها.

كيف نستخدم معلوماتك

• لتقديم الرحلة الأساسية: تقييم الجاهزية، والتوافق المبني على القيم، والتعارف الجادّ، واللقاء الموجّه، ومشاركة الأسرة.
• لتوثيق الهوية والحفاظ على الثقة والأمان (الإبلاغ والإشراف).
• لإدارة العضوية ومعالجة المدفوعات.
• للتواصل معك بشأن حسابك ونشاطك.

نحن لا نبيع بياناتك الشخصية، ولا نستخدم أدوات إعلانات أو تتبّع، والعضوية المميّزة لا تمنح وصولًا إلى أي شخص — بل تمنح أدوات وتوجيهًا فقط.

مزوّدو الخدمة

نشارك البيانات فقط مع جهات معالجة تساعدنا في تشغيل مريوم وفق شروط خصوصيتها: Clerk (المصادقة)، وStripe (المدفوعات وتوثيق الهوية عند توفّره)، وResend (البريد)، وSupabase/الاستضافة السحابية (التخزين الآمن)، ومزوّدو الذكاء الاصطناعي (Anthropic وOpenAI) لتوليد نصوص إرشادية — دون إرسال وثائق هويتك إليهم.

الاحتفاظ بالبيانات وحذفها

نحتفظ ببياناتك طوال نشاط حسابك. يمكنك حذف حسابك في أي وقت من داخل التطبيق (الإعدادات ← حذف الحساب)، ما يزيل ملفك وبياناتك بشكل دائم. كما يمكنك طلب الحذف عبر صفحة حذف الحساب أو بمراسلتنا. قد نحتفظ ببعض السجلات فقط وفق ما يقتضيه القانون أو لأغراض أمان مشروعة.

الأمان والأطفال والتواصل

البيانات مشفّرة أثناء النقل. الخدمة للبالغين (18+) فقط ولا نجمع بيانات ممن هم دون ذلك عن علم. لأي طلب أو استفسار يخصّ الخصوصية، راسلنا على hello@maryoom.online.
